On 14th May, Zhejiang Huayou Recycling Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Huayou Recycling”) and Japan Ohno Development Co. headquarters in Matsuyama City, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “Ono Development”). After more than a year of close communication and full discussion, based on the highly compatible development strategies of both parties and the open strategy of “build together, win the future together”, the two parties will carry out in-depth co-operation in the field of recycling of waste batteries, and contribute to the creation of a recycling-oriented society and the realisation of global sustainable development. 2022, in order to speed up the development of the battery industry, the Japanese government has announced a new plan for the development of the battery industry. In 2022, the Japanese government announced the Battery Industry Strategy to accelerate the development of the battery industry, proposing that the global battery production capacity will reach 600Gwh/year by 2030, and providing institutional safeguards for the establishment of a global battery industry alliance, recycling and utilisation, and the creation of a safe and sustainable global supply chain for batteries.
